Special solutions for medium voltage technology
FEAG supplies air-insulated medium-voltage systems with minimal space requirements in a compact design, tailored to the customer’s needs. The systems offer a high degree of flexibility thanks to their standardised function modules years of experience in a modular system in the field of mechanical and electrical design, we guarantee a high level of operator and system safety.
Generator Switchgear is an important component of power distribution and supply as well as for industrial applications. They form the direct interface from the generator to the mains transformer. We have developed various power variants for our customer Siemens. The most compact variant is the HIGS (Highly Integrated Generator Switchgear), whose core is the Siemens vacuum generator circuit-breaker.
Geno Main Terminal Box
The Geno Main Terminal Box is used to connect generators to the downstream medium-voltage switchgear. The components required for this, such as current and voltage transformers, are accommodated in a housing for indoor installation. The housing can be individually designed and adapted to the specific needs of the generator.
Furnace Switchgear is used for the operation of induction melting and arc furnaces with high switching frequencies. The heart of the Furnace Switchgear is the furnace switch, which must guarantee high switching cycles. We supply these systems in standard design or special solutions according to customer requirements.
Switchgear Panels belong to the family of air-insulated medium-voltage switchgear. They are used to create a visible isolating distance. The simplest design of GHG-free medium-voltage switchgear is the air-insulated version. Even though the space requirement is larger, these SF6-free Switchgear Panels are increasingly being used again.
Nodal Point Cabinet
Nodal Point Cabinets belong to the family of air-insulated medium-voltage switchgear. They serve as distribution node cabinets between transformers and downstream switchgear. They are equipped with measuring devices for current and voltage and are characterised by a compact design.
Star Point Generator
Star Point Generators are used to realise the missing star point in electrical distribution networks. The components required for this, such as the transformer, load resistor and measuring equipment, are housed together in one enclosure. This application can be implemented for indoor as well as outdoor installation. The housing can be individually designed and adapted to the components.
